Memories
Vanessa Lewchuk

I always used to hug and kiss him so tightly because I never wanted it to be the last time. The sad part is I can't remember the conversation the last time I talked to him or saw him, I wish I could remember it so badly. How could I have known it would be the last time, he was pretty healthy and so alert and normal and functioning. Why can things change so rapidly? I never got to say goodbye to him. I never got to tell him one last time how much he changed my life.

Vanessa Meghan Lewchuk - His Baby
Papa was a genious in his own right. He taught everyone everything they know. He put my dad through medical school. He taught me how to do math that I couldn't figure out. I know he made my brother the strong, intelligent, driven man he is today. My Papa used to draw me intricate astrology charts just because I was interested in it. He took me to do errands with him. I went to his doctor's appointment with him when I was little, and he took me to the library. A few years ago, he took me to Shopper's and was laughing at me because I was spending money on magazines and nail polish which he felt was unecessary. On the way home I was singing to him and Christina Aguilera's Beautiful was on the radio. He said I had a voice like an angel.

The reason i drink waterand lime is b/c of him.

One more memory that came to mind is Pops's love for the sweets, every time i would grocery shopping with him, he would be sure to make us buy bear claw donuts and danishes. That on top his favorite icream flavors led to very happy summer day.

My Pops was always so helpful and handy,

I remember one march break i went to visit him and grams and just got a new basket ball to play with. I loved the ball but could not play with it b/c of snow and no net.

So my pops in the freezing cold, went out to his yard, swept the snow away and proceeded to make me a home made court with a net. He sawed the bottom of a big pale off and drilled it into the bricks of his grage wall. That was awesome, it eventually broke off but he would do anything just to see his grandkids smile.

Another quick one,

He gave me and Jay pellet guns, to keep us from shooting up his paintings, he set up a mini range in his yard with target sheets and everything.

Love ya Pops,

Chris

My Pops and I always used to sit in his ice cold basement and watch a beaten up VHS copy of the Karate Kid. It was b/c of that I joined martial arts and earned my black belt. Thank you Pops.

On another note, Pops always used to let my cousin jay and I watch 14A film with him, The best was Porky's. The three of us would watch it over and over and howel. As always he would be force feeding us cheese sandwhiches or ice cream.

Those were the best times.
